The Nintendo 3DS has launched in America at $250. The 3DS has dual screens similar to older Nintendo DS models and the top screen is able to display 3D images without the need for glasses.
The device launched in Japan on February 26, 2011 for 250,000 Yen (307 USD). The initial batch of 400,000 units has sold out and according to Media Create the Nintendo 3DS has been the top selling console since launch.
According to the International Business Times several features will be included, such as Netflix, Internet Access, an online store called eShop, access to Hollywood movie trailers in 3D and free access to more than 10,000 AT&T Wi-Fi hot spots.
