Found an update to the Christopher Savoie child kidnap story. According to his attorney Japanese authorities are mistreating jailed father Christopher Savoie.

Christopher Savoie is the American father who tried to reclaim his kidnapped children from his Japanese wife in Japan.

According to the CNN article Christopher Savoie is being held without trial, interrogated without an attorney present and denied needed medical treatment for high blood pressure.

He has also been exposed to sleep deprivation, and denied private meetings with attorneys and phone calls to his wife. Seems practices that would be considered unjust in any other developed industrialized nation Japanese law enforcement get away without a second thought.

Japanese like to cover up and hide dirty aspects of their culture. Whenever they do this type of thing it is good to spread the word and expose their dirty side. Somebody else has to do it because they’re not going to do it using culture as an excuse.

Although it’s slow it is possible to cause change in Japan. A good way to do it is to shame them in to it. It’s been successfully done before in the past.
